Toho is Developing HOUSE OF NINJAS Action Series For Netflix

Netflix has announced that they are teaming up with the legendary Japanese production company Toho to develop a new action series titled House of Ninjas.

The show is set in modern-day Japan, and it tells the story of the Tawara family, “the last ninja clan. It had abandoned its roots after an incident in the past, but now the family must take on the greatest crisis in Japanese history, one that threatens to shake the nation to its core.”

House of Ninjas will be directed by Dave Boyle and it will fuse “spy elements of ninjas taking on top secret missions with a family drama about a group of colorful family members.”

The series stars Kaku Kento (Disney+’s The Family, Tokyo MER) and he also came up with the story and will serve as co-executive producer. Dave Boyle will direct from scripts that he wrote with Yamaura Masahiro, Oura Kota and Kimura Kanna.

House of Ninjas will be released in 2024.
