Saban Films has released a trailer for an upcoming thriller titled Hunted. The movie focuses on a group of criminals who are captured during a home invasion. Their whole plan goes off the rails when the owners of the home set the robbers free only to hunt them down to try and kill them. It’s another new take on the classic story of The Most Dangerous Game.
The film comes with the tagline, Old traditions… new blood, and here’s the synopsis:
A gang of young thieves in the midst of a home robbery get more than they bargained for when they are captured by the property owners. Attacked and bound by their captors, they are spirited away from the home and released in the middle of nowhere tracked, hunted and to be killed like animals. Pursued by bloodhounds and a heavily armed family, the resourceful thieves will not die without a fight. Hunted is a seriously suspenseful action-thriller.
Hunted was directed by Tommy Boulding, editor of films such as Barbarians and Shark Bait, and it stars Samantha Bond, Nick Moran, James Lance and Malachi Pullar Latchman.
Hunted will be released in theaters on October 21st and VOD on October 25th.
