Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Brutally Murder People in Trailer for WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY

The first trailer has dropped for the brutally violent R-rated Winnie The Pooh slasher horror film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. This is a super dark take on the beloved characters created by A.A. Milne in which Pooh and Piglet turn wild and go on a savage bloody rampage after being abandoned by Christopher Robin.

The movie comes from director Rhys Frake-Waterfield, and it’s just a cheap and tasteless-looking horror that would make creator A.A. Milne roll over in his grave. I think a Winnie the Pooh horror film could be fun, but not like this. They are just going for shock value here.

The following details of the film were previously revealed:

“Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey will see Pooh and Piglet as the main villains…going on a rampage after being abandoned by a college-bound Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin is pulled away from them, and he’s not [given] them food, it’s made Pooh and Piglet’s life quite difficult.

“Because they’ve had to fend for themselves so much, they’ve essentially become feral. So they’ve gone back to their animal roots. They’re no longer tame: they’re like a vicious bear and pig who want to go around and try and find prey.”

The movie was shot in England, not far from Ashdown Forest, which is the inspiration for Milne’s imaginary Hundred Acre Wood in the Winnie the Pooh stories.

The movie stars Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Scott. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think about Winnie The Pooh going around murdering people. Does this look like a film that you’d enjoy watching?
