A New Sci-Fi Thriller TRESPASSER is in Development with STOWAWAY Director Joe Penna

Stowaway director Joe Penna is set to helm a new sci-fi thriller for Endeavor Content titled Trespasser. The film is being produced by Jason Fuchs (Argylle, Welcome to Derry), Brad Fuller (The Purge, A Quiet Place), and Alixandra Fuchs, with Alex Ginno serving as executive producer.

The movie is described as a “grounded genre story is set in the Alaskan wilderness, where a father and daughter living in isolation encounter a mysterious otherworldly creature and are thrust into a journey of peril, survival and redemption.”

The film is based on a Black List screenplay written by Gabe Hobson and adapted from Justin M. Ryan’s 2017 Alterna Comics-published graphic novel. Trespasser was originally published in 2016 as a four-issue digital series available for download through Amazon’s Comixology portal.

Ryan ended up launching a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund a trade paperback version that collected all four of the original digital issues. There’s some heavy hitting producers attached to this film project, so there’s a good chance it will turn out to be a good movie!
