I somehow missed the big controversy about Dragon Ball Super: Broly’s home release. The story goes that there is a green tint on the home video copies, at least in the United States. You can see some comparisons below:
Since there are conflicting reports about the green tint on Funimation’s Broly Blu-ray, I gathered multiple friend’s personal rips from all over. They’re all green. Both steelbook and standard. Yes, in the movie itself, not just the menu.

So, how does Funimation respond? Well, earlier this week, they gave an official response to ANN:
“Funimation’s home entertainment release of “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” utilized the same master as the U.S. & Canadian movie release. It is identical to what audiences watched in North American theaters earlier this year.”
Something tells me fans won’t be happy about that answer. Have you noticed a green tint in your copy?
