James Bond is Being “Reinvented” and The Next Film’s Production is Two Years Away

Daniel Craig’s version of James Bond came to an end with the fantastic film No Time To Die, and fans have been wondering who will be brought in next to take on the role of 007. Well, don’t expect an answer to that question anytime soon.

James Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli has offered an update on what is currently going on with the next 007 movie, and in that update, she reveals that nobody is currently in the running to take on the role, they are reinventing the character, there’s no script, and they’re two years away from production.

Broccoli told Deadline: “Nobody’s in the running. We’re working out where to go with him, we’re talking that through. There isn’t a script and we can’t come up with one until we decide how we’re going to approach the next film because, really, it’s a reinvention of Bond. We’re reinventing who he is and that takes time. I’d say that filming is at least two years away.”

Craig was awesome in the role of Bond and I’m curious to see what this new reinvented version of the character will be like. It’ll also be interesting to see who they eventually end up casting in the role. Who would you like to see cast?
