New Trailer for Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s Apple TV+ Psychological Thriller Series SURFACE

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for their psychological thriller series Surface, starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning Show). The eight-episode first season “is set in San Francisco and follows Sophie (Mbatha-Raw), a woman who recently suffered a traumatic head injury that has left her with extreme memory loss, believed to be a result of a suicide attempt. As Sophie embarks on a quest to put the pieces of her life back together with the help of her husband and friends, she begins to question whether or not the truth she is told is in fact the truth she has lived.”

Mbatha-Raw is joined in the cast by Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stephan James, Ari Graynor, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Francois Arnaud, and Millie Brady. The series is created and written by Veronica West, who also serves as the showrunner and executive producer. Mbatha-Raw is also executive producing alongside Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, and Sam Miller. The series is directed by Miller, Kevin Sullivan, Jennifer Morrison, and Tucker Gates.
