Over Memorial Day weekend, a new promo spot for The Boys Season 3 was released by Vought International and it features America’s first Superhero… Soldier Boy, who’s played by Jensen Ackles.
In this classic 1984 anti-drug PSA, Soldier Boy “speaks up to help protect the youth of our great nation, reminding them that ‘taking drugs is not cool, and anyone who does is a loser.’”
Soldier Boy says in the video: “Did you know drugs and drug-related crime have become a nationwide problem? All across America, drugs are destroying people’s lives. But you don’t have to be a superhero to fight back. Because your superpower is just saying ‘no.’ So, when someone offers you drugs, you tell them Soldier Boy said ‘Taking drugs is not cool, and anyone who does is a loser.’ Remember, real heroes don’t use drugs.”

Based on the best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the raunchy superhero drama is executive produced by Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Craig Rosenberg, Ken F. Levin, Jason Netter, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn and Michaela Starr.
The Boys Season 3 is set to be released on Amazon on June 3rd.
