TOP GUN: MAVERICK Kicks Ass at the Box Office and Earned a Rare A+ CinemaScore

Remember that time I said that Top Gun: Maverick is one of the greatest movies ever made and that it is the best moviegoing experience you’ll have? Well, it’s awesome to see that audiences and fans are actually realizing that this movie really does live up to the hype, and they are flocking to theaters to watch it!

The movie is kicking ass at the box office and has blown past expectations in its opening weekend. Over the four-day holiday weekend, Top Gun: Maverick earned $15i million domestically with 109.5 million overseas. It made a total of $260.5 million worldwide. That means this is Tom Cruise‘s best opening at the box office in his long and successful career, which is pretty cool.

Top Gun: Maverick has also been getting strong reactions from fans and critics and it has even earned a rare A+ CinemaScore, the first given in 2022. It has also earned a 97% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Top Gun: Maverick is not only one of my favorite films of the year, but it’s also one on my list of favorite all-time films! This was just such an awesomely thrilling film that begs to be seen on the big screen! If you haven’t watched it yet, get to the theater and experience it! I’ve seen it twice already, and I’m ready to go for a third and fourth time!
