Paramount+ has released a special preview of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds that’s hosted by Wil Wheaton (The Next Generation). It offers fans an inside look at the series and what went into bringing it to life.
The preview includes interviews with several members of the cast and crew offering insight on the series and their roles in helping create it. The video also features some exciting footage from the series. I’m pretty pumped up for this show. and I hope that it tells some great adventurous Star Trek stories.
The show is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Christina Chong as Lieutenant La’an Noonien Singh, and Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas.
The show is set to premiere on Paramount+ on May 5th.
