If you’re a fan of horror movies and the kinds of films that James Wan produces, this might be a film that you’ll want to check out! It’s titled M3GAN and we got to see some of the first footage of it at Universal Pictures’ CinemaCon 2022 presentation! Here’s our reaction!
The film will be directed by Gerard Johnstone, who directed the Australian horror movie Housebound, and the script comes from Akela Cooper, who is a writer-supervising producer who has worked on Luke Cage and American Horror Story.
The film tells of “a brilliant toy company roboticist who uses artificial intelligence to develop M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to emotionally bond with her newly orphaned niece. But when the doll’s programming works too well, she becomes overprotective of her new friend…with terrifying results.”
The movie hits theaters on January 13th, 2023.
