Paramount+ has released three new promo spots for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and each one of them put the focus on a different character in the series. The first trailer focuses on Cadet Nyota Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding), the second spotlights Lieutenant La’an Noonien Singh (Christina Chong), and the third features Lt. Erica Ortegas (Melissa Navia).
Each spot offers new footage from the series and they give a little taste of the personalities of these characters and the roles they will play. These are just a few of the character that will join Joining Captain Pike (Anson Mount), Spock (Ethan Peck), and Number One (Rebecca Romijn) as they embark on the adventures of the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series will follow “Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.”
This series looks like a ton of fun and the movie is set to debut on Paramount+ on May 5th.
