Nate Is Following His Dreams in Trailer for Disney+ Musical Comedy BETTER NATE THAN EVER

Disney+ has released a fun and inspiring trailer for the movie musical Better Nate Than Ever, based on the 2013 novel of the same name by High School Musical: The Musical: The Series creator Tim Federle, who adapted the script and directed the film as well.

The family musical comedy stars Rueby Wood, (who played Charlie Bucket in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory stage musical’s first tour on Broadway), as Nate Foster, a 13-year-old who dreams of making it big on Broadway but can’t even land a role in his school’s play. Aria Brooks (All That) costars as Nate’s best friend Libby, who joins him on a secret trip to the Big Apple to prove he’s got what it takes to become a Broadway legend. Nate’s long-lost Aunt Heidi is played by Lisa Kudrow (Friends, Easy A, Space Force), and according to the description, “together they must learn that life’s greatest adventures are only as big as your dreams.”

Better Nate Than Ever reunites Federle with High School Musical: The Musical: The Series lead Joshua Bassett, who co-stars as Nate’s older brother Anthony.

This looks like a really fun movie for families to watch together. I know my kids are going to love it. Check out the trailer below, and watch Better Nate Than Ever when it premieres on Disney+ on April 1st.
