We’ve got a full trailer here for you to watch for Netflix’s upcoming sci-fi adventure film The Adam Project. This is our best look yet at the movie and the story that it tells and this movie is going to be a blast! All this footage that’s been released so far is filled with thrilling fun!
Ryan Reynolds stars in the film as time-traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed, who travels to 2022 where he “teams up with his 12-year-old self on a mission to save the future.”
I’m a fan of the film’s concept and as I’ve previously said the movie feels like it was made by Amblin in the 80s. It’s a new film, but it still feels like a nostalgic piece of filmmaking. I love this and I can’t wait to watch it! I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited about watching a Netflix original movie.
The movie also stars Zoe Saldana as Laura, the love of Adam’s life, who finds herself lost in the timestream. They are joined by Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo as Adam’s mom and dad, Catherine Keener as the film’s villain, and Walker Scobell as Young Adam.
The movie was directed by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Real Steel) from a script written by T.S. Nowlin and Jonathan Tropper.
