AMC and BBC have released the full trailer for the fourth and final season of Killing Eve, and it gives us our best look yet at what’s in store for Sandra Oh’s Eve Polastri and Jodie Comer’s Villanelle. Over the course of the series, Eve and Villanelle have developed a mutual obsession with each other, and each of their missions has spiraled out of control.
As you’ll see in the trailer, Villanelle is now in therapy trying to become a good person. She’s searching for her humanity. As for Eve, she is given another assignment and their paths lead them to collide once again. As you imagine, things once again get out of hand, and it sure does look like fun! This is such a great and entertaining spy thriller! It’s sad that it’s coming to an end, but I’m sure it will end on a high note.
In Season 4, “Eve and Villanelle are now in very different places after their bridge encounter. Eve is on a revenge mission, while Villanelle has found a brand-new community in an attempt to prove she’s not a ‘monster.’ Having killed Paul, Carolyn goes to extraordinary lengths to continue to chase down The Twelve and the person that ordered Kenny’s hit. This season follows our extraordinary women, each driven by passion, revenge and obsession, building towards a messy, nuanced and totally glorious series finale.”
This final season was written by Laura Neal (Sex Education), and she also serves as an executive producer for the season, along with Oh, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Gina Mingacci and Damon Thomas.
Killing Eve Season 4 will debut simultaneously on BBC America and AMC Plus on February 27th. AMC will also broadcast an encore presentation of the show every Monday starting February 28th.
