Amazon Prime Video has released a new teaser trailer for The Boys Presents: Diabolical animated series and it’s both adorable and bloody violent.
We are introduced to Laser Baby in the series, a baby girl who can shoot murderous lasers out of her eyes, and as you’ll see, she makes a bloody mess as she lasers to death a group of Vought guards before she crawls off after a balloon.
The series will consist of eight “fun-size episodes, running 12-14 minutes and each with its own animation style.” The animation in this teaser may be cute, fun, and playful, but then there’s the insane and dark violence.
The Diabolical episodes come from writers that include The Boys writer Garth Ennis, Awkwafina, Eliot Glazer, Ilana Glazer, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, who executive produce The Boys, Simon Racioppa, Rick & Morty’s Justin Roiland, Ben Bayouth, Andy Samberg, and Aisha Tyler.
The series will launch all eight episodes of its first season on March 4th.
