I’ve been wanting to see Tom Hanks appear in a Wes Anderson-directed movie for a long time, and it’s actually going to happen! Hanks is to join the already impressive ensemble cast of Anderson’s next untitled movie.
The actor will star alongside Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray and Adrian Brody. It’s pretty crazy that Hanks and Anderson have never worked together before. This seems like something that should’ve happened a long time ago. There are no details one who Hanks will be playing, but it will only be a minor role.
There are still no story or character details to share, but we do know the movie is set in Spain. Swinton made a point of saying that “it’s not about Spain.” Meanwhile, Anderson says he’s “not ready to share any details” about the film.
