Director Steven Soderbergh has been playing his next film particularly close to the vest, but we finally have some details on the story and cast. Let Them All Talk is a comedy starring Meryl Streep (August: Osage County, The Post), Candice Bergen (Murphy Brown, Miss Congeniality), Dianne Wiest (The Lost Boys, Edward Scissorhands), Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians, Captain Marvel), and Lucas Hedges (Manchester By The Sea, Boy Erased).

Let Them All Talk will be the first film picked up by HBO’s streamer, HBO Max. Award-winning author Deborah Eisenberg is writing the film that follows “the story of a celebrated author (Streep) who takes a journey with some old friends (Bergen and Wiest) to have some fun and heal old wounds. Her nephew (Hedges) comes along to wrangle the ladies and finds himself involved with a young literary agent (Chan).”

Production began last week in New York, and will continue in the UK, as well as on board the Queen Mary 2. HBO Max is set to launch in the spring, and we will hopefully see Let Them All Talk when it premieres, or soon after.
