LOKI Almost Featured a Fight Scene with Miss Minutes, but It Was Cut

The Loki season finale might have been a lot better had they kept a fight scene that was ultimately cut out. That fight scene would have involved Miss Minutes, who has been working for Kang in helping steer the TVA in the direction that he wants it to go.

Miss Minutes had a fun little jump scare moment in the beginning of the episode, but it could’ve been so much better. Loki director Kate Herron said that Miss Minutes had an entire fight scene with Loki and Sylvie after acting as the “devil on their shoulder,” as she tried to tempt them to leave. She told Marvel:

“It was fun that you got a sense of there’s something a bit more sinister going on here with her. We always had a version where [Loki and Sylvie] kept meeting her at the Citadel. At one point, we had a fight scene with Miss Minutes in the Citadel; we had all kinds of stuff [for her].”

I would have loved to see that. I think the episode needed something like that. I’m not sure why they cut it because the episode already seemed pretty short. When talking about playing with the character in the series, writer Michael Waldron said:

“She was a really fun way to deliver some pretty heady exposition. There’s something sing-songy and sort of non-threatening about [the way she talks]. But yet, when it turns, and when she becomes evil, suddenly it’s really scary.”

It’s a shame they didn’t play with that aspect of her more.
