Crunchyroll and Adult Swim recently revealed the cast and characters for the upcoming series Blade Runner: Black Lotus. The series is inspired by the Blade Runner film franchise and is set to release later this year with 13 episodes. Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama are directing the series with Shinichiro Watanabe serving as creative producer. Alcon Entertainment is producing the series from Sola Digital Arts animation studio. In addition, fans will be able to get a first look at the series during the Comic-Con@Home 2021 panel co-hosted by Crunchyroll and Adult Swim. The panel will run on July 23 at 5 PM PT. Aramaki and Kamiyama will be in attendance as well as executive producer Joseph Chou, voice director Wes Gleason, Jessica Henwick, and Toonami co-creator of Toonami on Adult Swim Jason DeMarco. English episodes of Blade Runner: Black Lotus will air on Toonami with Japanese episodes with subtitles available on Crunchyroll.
