Universal Pictures has released a new clip from F9: The Fast Saga and it shows us the full scene that features Vin Diesel driving his car off a cliff and then swing to safety. It’s so funny that Diesel makes it look like it takes great driving skills to pull this kind of stunt off. In reality, Diesel’s Dom and Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty would have flown off the cliff to their deaths. But it’s all in good ridiculous fun!
In the film, Dom Toretto “is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).”
Justin Lin returned to direct the film, and in the story “old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before.”
The film stars returning cast members Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, and Sung Kang, along with Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell and Charlize Theron.
F9: The Fast Saga hits theaters on June 25th.
