Are you ready to tee off with your favorite Mushroom Kingdom characters next month? If you are, you’ll want to check out the latest trailer as it reveals the full Mario Golf: Super Rush roster, as well as a detailed dive of the upcoming game.
The Mario Golf: Super Rush roster includes a total of 17 characters ranging from returning favorites like Mario and Luigi to some unexpected guests like King Bob-omb and Chargin’ Chuck. Each Mushroom Kingdom resident has five stats including power, stamina, speed, control, and spin. Characters will also have a special shot that will allow them to get an edge on the fairway. For example, Pauline’s special shot allows her to blast away balls in its path.

The video also gives a preview of the gameplay and features found in Mario Golf: Super Rush. The anticipated new entry will feature both button and motion controls, letting you choose exactly how you want to experience the various courses of the Mushroom Kingdom. A new mode, known as Speed Golf, lets everyone tee off at the same time. After each shot, you’ll have to run to where your ball landed and take another swing. The first one to get the ball in the hole wins.

There will also be a single-player Story Mode where you’ll take your created Mii character on a journey to become a pro golfer. You’ll level up with experience points gained in matches, and allocate them to the five different stats to progress your character.
Mario Golf: Super Rush will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch on June 25.
