In one week, Destiny 2 players will begin a new season of content. This season will be based around the character Mithrax, a strange ally, and the Vex. This season looks to maybe include a bit less content, but the content is more meaningful. The seasonal activity is a six-player, match-made event with some very lite raid mechanics and takes place on the Moon, Tangled Shore, and the inner workings of Vex networks (according to the trailer). We also get our first real glimpse at the return of the Vault of Glass Raid, and we see the Vex Mythoclast slung on Mithrax’s back.
Along with this content, we are getting Armor Synthesis. Here, players will talk to Ada-1 about collecting new materials to make old pieces of armor into ornaments for current gear. Lastly, they announce in the calendar that the Solstice of Heroes will return on July 6th. Check out the trailer and our slew of screenshots and full images taken from the trailer and Bungie.net.
