It’s April Fools Day, and Blumhouse has dropped a fun April Fools trailer for a horror film titled El Chupacabras. They say the fake movie comes from Mexican filmmaker Issa López (Tiger Are Not Afraid), and it gives us a new take on the Mexican legend of the chupacabra.
The brief note for the movie reads:
Hidden for years, and no longer a myth, El Chupacabras exists. Will you be able to outrun him? A first look at director Issa Lopez’s new Blumhouse film, El Chupacabras, coming this summer.
You know what’s funny, is that even though this is an April Fools jok,e and this movie isn’t real, it actually looks like it might make for a great horror movie! I’d totally watch it!
