John Krasinski shares some exciting news for fans of A Quiet Place. The sequel is going to be released in theaters earlier than expected.

Paramount Pictures previously pushed the release of A Quiet Place Part II back several months to September 17th. Well, they’ve now pushed that date up to May 28th, Memorial Day, a date which F9: A Fast Saga just moved out of.

Krasinski said in his social media post: “They always say good things come to those who wait. Well… I think we’ve waited long enough.”

Krasinski wrote and directed the sequel and the story picks up immediately after A Quiet Place. Here’s the synopsis that was shared:

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

It’s exciting that A Quiet Place Part II is coming going to be released in May! I hope that theaters in Los Angeles are open by then so that I can watch it!
