Some new set photos have surfaced from Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, and they feature Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth in costume. The two actors previously had a cameo in the film as Asgardian stage actors playing Loki and Thor.
Well, according to these set photos, they are back in the roles of actors playing Loki and Thor. In the image, they are wearing the exact same outfits that they wore during Odin’s death scene in Thor: Ragnarok.
This suggests that Damon and Hemsworth’s characters will be acting out the moment of Odin’s death. Sam Neill will also return to play Odin, and there were two other stars spotted on set who are new to the franchise. I’ll tell you who they are below if you don’t want it spoiled for you.

Thor: Love and Thunder is being directed by Taika Waititi, and Chris Hemsworth will be back in the role of the God of Thunder. The film also stars Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who will also become Thor; Tessa Thompson is returning as Valkyrie and ruler of Asgard; Chris Pratt will return as Star-Lord; Karen Gillan will be back as Nebula, and Christian Bale will play Gore The God Butcher.

Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, the married comedic couple, were also spotted on set. Melissa McCarthy is dressed up as Hela from Thor: Ragnarok, but we don’t know what Falcone will be doing if he is in the film. He was just spotted in set.
