Hulu’s animated comedy series Solar Opposites is coming back for a second season, and they’ve released the first trailer for it giving us a little taste of what’s in store. I thought the first season of the series was great, and I’m sure that Season 2 will end up being just as funny. I’m definitely digging what this trailer has to show off! One thing is for sure, things are getting wild and crazy!
The series was co-created by Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty) and Mike McMahan (Rick & Morty) and as you’ll see, this next season will take the alien characters beyond the borders of the suburbs that they live in, and there’s going to be storylines involving “big dick energy” and “unholy creations” that turn people into wine. I’ll let you see what that is when you watch the trailer.
Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens “who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.”
