Olivia Wilde has signed on to direct and produce the upcoming thriller Don’t Worry, Darling alongside partner Katie Silberman, with whom she made the comedy Booksmart. Producer Roy Lee — of the It films — will also produce under the Vertigo Entertainment banner.

Variety reports that the story is described as “a psychological thriller for the Time’s Up era” that “will center on an unhappy 1950s housewife.” Silberman will be re-writing the script from the original, which was from sibling writing team Shane and Carey Van Dyke.

It will be interesting to hear more about the project, as well as casting. Wilde and Silberman seem to be on a hot streak that will hopefully continue with this film.
