The first teaser trailer has been released for Nicolas Cage’s next crazy-ass film titled Wally’s Wonderland. I sure do enjoy the insane films that Cage has been making these days. In this new one, we’ll see him battle demonic animatronic animals! Just imagine Cage fighting the animatronic animals from Chuck E. Cheese!
In the story “A quiet drifter is tricked into a janitorial job at the now condemned Willy’s Wonderland. The mundane tasks suddenly become an all-out fight for survival against wave after wave of demonic animatronics. Fists fly, kicks land, titans clash — and only one side will make it out alive.”
This teaser gives us a first look at what we have to look forward too and it certainly looks pretty wild! The movie is being helmed by Kevin Lewis, who previously talked about the film saying:
“For me there was always one actor and one actor only who could make this movie work, and that actor is Nic Cage. I’m thrilled to be working with him and can’t wait to see him go up against Wally and his gang of psychopathic misfits. I see this movie as Pale Rider vs Killer Klowns from Outer Space.”
I’m 100% sold! I’m excited to watch this! Cage is joined by Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, Ric Reitz, and Chris Warner.
I don’t know about you, but when I went to Chuck E. Cheese as a kid, I always imagined how fun it would be for those creepy animatronics animals to come to life so that I could fight them! Now Nic Cage gets to live my dream.
There’s no release date set for the film yet, but it will arrive in theaters and VOD in 2021. Enjoy the trailer!
