TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is Returning to the Big Screen to Celebrate 30 Years

It’s been 30 years since the live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film was released for the world to enjoy. It’s a personal childhood favorite of mine, and I’m sure I’m not alone. To celebrate the momentous anniversary, Warner Bros. and Fathom Events are inviting fans to enjoy the movie once more on the big screen.

The film was directed by Steve Barron with a story by Bobby Herbeck and screenplay by Herbeck and Todd W. Langen. The voice cast consisted of Brian Tochi as Leonardo, Corey Feldman as Donatello, Josh Pais as Raphael, Robbie Rist as Michelangelo, and Kevin Clash as Splinter.

Cowabunga dudes! It has been 30 years since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie and the live-action, feature film adaptation of the cult comic book and the popular animated television show came to the big screen! After prolonged exposure to radiation, four teenage turtles–Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello–have trained as ninjas and have begun living in the sewers of New York City.

Under the guidance of ninja master Splinter the Rat and television reporter April O’Neil, the Turtles embark on a mission to run crime out of the city and battle the warlord Shredder, leader of the Foot Clan.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available in select theaters from November 3-5. You can find out which theaters near you are participating on the Fathom Events site.
