Sylvester Stallone is lining up a new film project to develop as a director and producer. It’s a remake of the South Korean crime-thriller called The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil.

The original film starred Don Lee, and he will reprise his role in Stallone’s remake. In the story, Lee plays a gangster “who survives a lethal attack by a serial killer. He forms an unlikely partnership with a cop to help track down the murderer.”

The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil hasn’t even been released yet. It won’t be released in South Korea until May 15th, but obviously Stallone isn’t going to waste any time in getting the remake developed.

As a fan of Stallone’s work, I’m curious to see what he is planning for this movie and how it will be different from the original. This is obviously a project that he’s excited about developing. If you’re curious about what to expect from the movie, here’s a trailer that was released for the original film.
