Photos From THE CROWN Season 4 Feature Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin as Diana Spencer

Netflix has released four new photos from the upcoming 4th season of the hit Netflix series The Crown. The photos feature the familiar faces of Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, and a look at series newcomers Gillian Anderson, who is playing Margaret Thatcher, and Emma Corrin as Lady Diana Spencer.

Anderson described her role as the Prime Minister and her relationship with Coleman’s Queen as, “Complicated and it was complicated in real life. They are in a relationship by necessity and certainly Thatcher was a monarchist, but she liked the monarchy to stay in its role and not get involved. They’re very similar and very different at the same time. They’re the same age and they have the same restrictions to a degree and actually the same philosophies to a large degree. And yet, how they go about their business is very very different.”

It will be interesting to see it all portrayed, as we are getting to an era that more people are familiar with, as Diana enters the family. Check out the photos below, and watch season 4 of The Crown on Netflix on November 15th.
