Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler), Taye Diggs (The Best Man) and Jessica Uberuaga (The Fanatic) have been cast in the upcoming horror thriller Mammon.
The story follows “a struggling young couple who are chasing the American dream, and soon realize that their worst nightmare is the demonic spirit in their new home. Mammon is the biblical word for the worship of wealth, and the couple discover that getting rich can come at a hefty price.”
Isaac Walsh is making his directorial debut with the film with a script he wrote with Tyler Clair Smith. This seems like an interesting story to tell, and it seems like the kind of project that Rourke and Diggs will have fun with.
The film is currently in pre-production and will shoot in Southern California next month.
