New Featurette For WONDER WOMAN 1984 Focuses on the Retro Look of the Film

I’ve got a new behind-the-scenes featurette for director Patty Jenkins’ long-delayed DC film, Wonder Woman 1984. The video focuses on the 80s retro style of the film and it includes interviews with Jenkins, Gal Gadot and makeup and hair designer Jan Sewell. It also shows off a bit of new footage!

The story picks up with Diana Prince as she’s working at the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C. in the 80s, and she’s been living a quiet, lonely life since the events of the first movie. But she’s still just trying to help the people who need it.

The synopsis reads:

In 1984, during the Cold War, Diana comes into conflict with two formidable foes—media businessman Maxwell Lord and friend-turned-enemy Barbara Minerva / Cheetah, while reuniting with her love interest Steve Trevor.

The movie was directed by Patty Jenkins, and it also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.

The movie is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th.
