Crunchyroll Reveals New Guests and Panels for Virtual Crunchyroll Expo

Virtual Crunchyroll Expo is almost here and Crunchyroll has revealed more of the content fans can get pumped for. Remember, you can register at the official site and it’s completely free. First, the horror manga artist Junji Ito will be making an appearance and providing fans with a look at the lives of his cats Yon and Mu. There will also be the Professional Athletes of Anime panel which will be hosted by Jacki Jing and feature athletes like Olympic Gold Medalist in track and field Aries Merritt, basketball player Cole Anthony, and professional wrestler Miro (WWE name is Rusev).

In addition, a discussion will be held with the creative staff from The Rising of the Shield Hero with messages from Sarah Emi Bridcutt (voice of Myne), Kaito Ishikawa (voice of Naofumi Iwatani), Asami Seto (voice of Raphtalia), and Rina Hidaka (voice of Filo). Other participants include Keigo Koyanagi (Series Composition), Masahiro Suwa (Character Design), and Junichiro Tamura (Producer). Fans should also get hyped as there will be a “very special announcement” made during the panel.

Another panel announced will be for One Piece and include the Japanese voice actors including Mayumi Tanaka (voice of Monkey D. Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (voice of Roronoa Zoro), Ikue Otani (voice of Tony Tony Chopper) and Hiroaki Hirata (voice of Vinsmoke Sanji). The character designer for Tower of God Miho Tanino, voice actress and singer Minori Chihara (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Violet Evergarden), and musician TeddyLoid have also been announced as new guests.

Finally, Crunchyroll Games are bringing a slew of special guests including Masayuki Yamaigishi (Yama-P), the NextNinja CEO and producer of Grand Summoners; Erik, Global Lead of Grand Summoners; Kensuke Mita, Producer of Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes from Bandai Namco Entertainment; and David Cai, Co-Founder of Gaudium, the studio behind Grand Alliance.
