Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Ruby Rose’s upcoming action thriller titled The Doorman. The film comes from director Ryûhei Kitamura (The Midnight Meat Train) and it looks like it will feature some cool action.
Rose (xXx: Return of Xander Cage, John Wick: Chapter 2, Batwoman) takes on the role of a soldier who returns from combat and befriends a family in New York. When a gang of thieves plot to take all the family’s valuables, she is all that stands between them and their lives and she fights to protect them.
The movie has the same kind of vibe as Die Hard. The rest of the cast includes Jean Reno, Louis Mandylor, Rupert Evans, Aksel Hennie, and David Sakurai.
The Doorman will be released direct-to-VOD on October 9th.
