The masters of producing horror at Blumhouse have teamed up with the short-form streaming service, Quibi, to produce a new murder-mystery series from creator Anthony Horowitz. Horowitz is a British writer and producer who has made several series like Crossbow, Murder In Mind, Foyle’s War, and most recently, the Alex Rider series based on the teen novels he authored. He is also writing the untitled Adventures of Tintin sequel that is in development.

The working title of the upcoming project is currently Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, and the story follows “the tale of nine strangers who find themselves lost in a remote Mexican jungle after their small plane crashes. The plot thickens as members are murdered one by one and the remaining survivors must solve the mystery.”

Horowitz will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the project, with Blumhouse Television’s Jason Blum, Jeremy Gold, and Marci Wiseman executive producing as well.

This sounds like a very interesting project. I’m excited to hear more details. Are you intrigued?
