People are constantly trying to find ways to have virtual movie parties. One of the more popular options has been the Netflix Party extension for Google Chrome, but now the team over at Plex has unveiled a new beta feature they’re simply calling Watch Together. This feature will allow you to invite your friends and family to watch your favorite show or film together from your own homes. You’ll be able to choose from Plex’s free on-demand programming or your personal library.
As of right now, anyone watching can play, pause, skip, etc. with the content, so be careful who you invite. You can enjoy the new Watch Together feature on Apple devices, Android devices, FireTV, NVIDIA SHIELD, and Roku. What’s your favorite way to remotely watch shows and films with your friends?
