Netflix has ordered a new Korean zombie series titled All Of Us Are Dead. The show is described as a “fresh take” on the genre and is based on the webtoon Now At Our School. The new series will be produced by Lee JQ (Beethoven Virus, Damo: The Legendary Police Woman, Intimate Strangers).

All Of Us Are Dead centers on “a group of high school students who are faced with an extreme crisis situation when they become trapped in their school, while a zombie virus spreads like a wildfire. The source material webtoon has been successful in Korea and also well-received in Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan as digital comics have seen significant uptake.”

This sounds similar to Daisuke Satō’s manga and anime series Highschool of the Dead. This Netflix series could end up being a lot of fun. I hope it is! It will be written by Chun Sung-il, and directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su.

There’s no information on when the series will actually premiere, but does it sound like a series you’d want to tune in to watch?
