Most Anticipated Cards for HEARTHSTONE’s Ashes of Outland Expansion

April 7th isn’t that far away and Hearthstone’s newest expansion and new hero class will be coming out that day! There are a bunch of new cards from the expansion and we are pretty excited for many of them. Between the new Outcast keyword from the Demon Hunter class to the Prime Legendaries, this new set of cards is packed full of intense and powerful cards. Here is a shortlist of cards that interest me the most!

Bulwark of Azzinoth

This card is crazy, how is this going to be allowed? Only one health lost every time you take damage? This can be used offensively and defensively. Yes, your hero would take some damage, and an opponent could thrash through it all in one turn if they have four minions or more. But popping this on late game can save an incredible amount of health.

Msshi’fn Prime

After the Archspore Msshi’fn shuffles its Prime version into the deck, we get an unreasonably strong minion (in my opinion). 9/9 Taunt is not great for 10 mana, but two of them or one of them with Rush instead? That is crazy intense. This is a pretty amazing late game defense that can give players an extra turn or two to figure things out if they find themselves in a bind.

Shadow Council

A handful of random demons? Pretty awesome for only being a 1 cost card. But add +2/+2 to each of them? Now that is a recipe for destruction at any time. If you want to overpower the enemy, get a big head start or need some strong defenses, this card can do it all. Now, there is some serious luck involved, but demons are normally strong on their own and range from beefy brawlers to quick, little ones can be helpful at just about anytime.

Shadowjeweler Hanar

This could be one of the most powerful 10 mana plays that only require two cards (plus the others you would discover). Throwing out a discovered secret after another would create quite the defensive wall. It could really backfire, giving a bunch of circumstantial paladin secrets or costly mage secrets, but I think overall, it could give players a number of chances to build a strong and mysterious defense the enemy would have to push through.

Skull of Gul’dan

If a card is on the very right or left of the player’s hand when played, it can use the Outcast ability. So this card isn’t too bad on its own, but waiting for the Outcast ability is worth it for this card. Drawing three cards for 5 mana is already a pretty good deal, but reducing their cost by 3 is just insane, especially if you can play any of them and have Outcast abilities too. This is great for a quicker deck which will allow players to grab three cards and basically play them immediately if it is late game.
