With the Super Bowl Falling on Groundhog Day, Bill Murray Has Been Spotted Filming a Very Special Commercial for Jeep

We’ve got an excellent photo for you all to check out today of Bill Murray reprising his role of Phil from the classic movie Groundhog Day. It just so happens that the Super Bowl this year falls on Groundhog Day, so Jeep has made the genius move of creating their Super Bowl ad around the theme of the holiday and film. In case you need a refresher, here’s the synopsis:

A cynical TV weatherman finds himself reliving the same day over and over again when he goes on location to the small town of Punxsutawney to film a report about their annual Groundhog Day. His predicament drives him to distraction, until he sees a way of turning the situation to his advantage.

Check out the siting in the posted photo below, and count down the days with me until we get to see the commercials! I mean, watch the game.
