We’ve got the first trailer for the HBO limited series The Undoing for you to check out. The series stars Nicole Kidman as a New York therapist whose life is upended in a series of events. The show is based on the novel, You Should Have Known, by Jean Hanff Korelitz, and also stars Hugh Grant, Donald Sutherland, Edgar Ramirez, Lily Rabe, Michael Devine, Matilda De Angelis, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Noma Dumezweni.
Here’s the synopsis:
The six-part limited series stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant as Grace and Jonathan Fraser who are living the only lives they ever wanted for themselves. Overnight a chasm opens in their lives: a violent death and a chain of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and her family.
David E. Kelly, creator of Big Little Lies, is the writer and creator of the limited series, reuniting him with Kidman, whom he is co-executive-producing alongside as well. I was a huge fan of Big Little Lies, and I can’t wait to see what Kidman and Kelly bring to this new series!
