Amazon has released a featurette for executive producer Jordan Peele’s upcoming Nazi-hunting action-thriller series Hunters. The promo offers us a behind-the-scenes look at the fantastic looking show, and teases what we can expect to see from it with new footage and interviews with the cast and crew, such as creator David Weil, Al Pacino and Logan Lerman.
The show is described as a “Nazi-hunting vengeance drama” and I have enjoyed all the footage that I’ve seen from it so far. This looks like it’s gonna be a fun and intense show to watch!
The story follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. “The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.”
The series also has a fantastic cast that also includes Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker, and Lena Olin.
This is an original idea and while it is a fictional story, it does draw from real-life events. It will consist of 10 hour-long episodes and it will premiere on February 21st.
