If you’ve visited GeekTyrant in the last year, you know that I love the Power Rangers comics from BOOM! Studios. That’s why it is with a bittersweet heart that I am reporting that Go Go Power Rangers will come to a close with issue #32. I say this is bittersweet because the comic was fantastic and told amazing stories, so I’m sad to see it go. However, the series did have to come to a close eventually, and this sounds like a great, natural end that many comics don’t get.
Over on Twitter, Dafna Pleban, Senior Editor at BOOM! Studios, and Ryan Parrott, writer for GGPR both explained that GGPR was going to end eventually and this is just that point.
GGPR was always planned as a series with an ending, and because the readers supported us, we got to reach that ending. I absolutely cannot wait for everyone to see what we have in store, and, maybe, what will come next… https://t.co/L3kc3uQpeS

All of this. Also… there is no Go Go without Dafna. https://t.co/OTz1VU9iAg

Of course, Parrott also explained that he’ll still be writing Power Rangers adventures with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Also, just to clarify… I’m staying on MMPR for the foreseeable future… and am already working on some big plans for Power Rangers in 2020.

I’m just glad that there are still plenty of adventures to look forward to. GGPR #32 will be available on April 22. A running cover is coming from Eleonora Carlini with other variant covers by Amelia Vidal and Miguel Mercado.
