Last month, we were shown a teaser for the second chapter in Guild Wars 2’s The Icebrood Saga, “Shadow in the Ice.” Now we have more details about what players will gain access to. Players will find an expanded map of Bjora Marches, a third tier of upgrades for the Ancient Boreal weapons, new tiers for Essence Manipulation and Raven Attunement mastery tracks, a new Strike Mission called “Face the Whispers,” the Trials of Koda, a new Raven armor set, and the new world boss Drakkar.
“Beyond a door in the mountains lies a frozen lake remembered only in norn legend. Explore the hidden half of Bjora Marches, battle the insidious world boss Drakkar, and seek the source of the whispers plaguing the Far Shiverpeaks.”
I am very excited to see where “Shadow in the Ice” takes the world. The Icebrood Saga is free to all players who own Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire. “Shadow in the Ice” will be available on January 28.
