During Comic-Con and the D23 Expo this year, Lucasfilm hosted an impressive display showcasing the evolution of the Stormtrooper in Star Wars. That exhibit included several of the screen-used costumes that fans have enjoyed seeing in the films over the years, from the classic design to the new designs coming to The Rise of Skywalker.
Today we have a video to share with you called “Evolution of the Stormtrooper,” and it dives into the details of all the Stormtroopers that have graced the big screen. J.J. Abrams and Dave Filoni also offer some thoughts and insight on this variety of Stormtroopers.
Stormtroopers have been in every Star Wars project that has ever been produced. They are a staple of the universe. With the upcoming films in development being set in different times and different corners of the universe telling the new stories of new characters, I imagine Stormtroopers won’t be a part of those films. But, we’ll just have to wait and see.
