This has been a big year at the box office. It was the year that Avatar was dethroned as the highest-grossing movie in history by Avengers: Endgame, and it’s finishing out the year strong as well with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The film’s opening day pre-sale numbers are only second to Endgame, and it’s looking like the final film in the Star Wars franchise is going to have a solid opening weekend as well.

While it’s not projected to hit the record set by Endgame, it is set to do as well as it’s two predecessor Star Wars films, who are among the seven films that have surpassed $200 Million in their opening weekends. I don’t know about you, but I’ll be there with the husband and kids, contributing to the numbers and seeing what happens to our beloved story before anyone can spoil it for me. How about you? Do you have your tickets yet?
