Four More Join THE GATEWAY

I recently learned about The Gateway when it was announced that Olivia Munn joined the cast, and now we have a fair number of other names to add to the list. Mark Boone Junior, Keith David, Frank Grillo, and Taryn Manning are the latest to join the picture directed by Michele Civetta.

The pic follows Parker, a downtrodden social worker in the grips of alcoholism, assigned to oversee care of the daughter of single mother, Dahlia, in this neo-noir thriller.

These four will be joining Munn, Zach Avery, Bruce Dern, and Shea Whigham. I’m interested to see how this film turns out with this cast. No release date has been given for The Gateway.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME Fans Claim To Have Spotted Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos in The Film

Ok, so there’s a report going around about how some fans have spotted Ben Mendelsohn‘s Captain Marvel character Talos in Avengers: Endgame. Before I jump into the details, I will say that the scene he was spotted in was near the end of the film.

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, there are spoilers ahead.

After the Avengers save the world and bring back everyone who was dusted at the end of Infinity War, we get to see clips of several characters going back to live their lives.

One of the characters that these scenes focused on was Peter Parker returning to high school. Reddit user teegrez made a compelling observation about one of the background characters seen when Peter Parker walks into his school.

It’s hard to say for sure, but there is a man standing in the background high-fiving students as they walk in. A lot of fans seem to think that this person is Ben Mendelsohn’s Captain Marvel character Talos. You can watch a pirated clip of this scene here if you are interested.

Yeah, I can see the similarities, but I’m still not 100% convinced that it’s him. If it is him, though, does this mean that he will be involved with Spider-Man: Far From Home? My question is, why would Talos be back on Earth infiltrating human society again in 2023?

It would be interesting if this person in the background does end up being Talos, but there’s a good chance that it might not be him. What do you all think? Do you think this could be Talos? If so how do you think he would fit in with Spider-Man: Far From Home?

I feel like there are two types of Dungeons & Dragons podcasts: actual play podcasts and podcasts that talk about the meta of the game or tips on playing/DMing. Well, The League of Ultimate Questing (LUQ) is definitely an actual play podcast, it puts a very unique twist on things. You see, LUQ has a DM and players, but then there are also commentators like in sports games and fake ads for crazy in-world products. It’s really quite a trip. It’s also not for everyone. However, they do edit the episodes down to under an hour which makes them a lot shorter than most other actual play podcasts.

The League of Ultimate Questing is an action adventure set in the mysterious world of Macinar. Follow a ragtag team of underdogs as they put their lives on the line, vying for fame and fortune in the Adventure Sport that’s sweeping the Five Kingdoms.

Hilarious Announcer play by play and in-world sponsors set the scene for this one-of-a-kind Dungeons and Dragons meets Major League Sports experience.

The cast is comprised of Law Johnson as the Dungeon Master, Allonte Baraket as Kryst Z’Grande, Zach Barcus as Artyom Volkov, Sam Frost as Arvid Ulfund, and Michael Loving as Haruthakss. As an added bonus, here are the stats for each of the adventurers as well as a picture:

JUST SAY GOODBYE Trailer Shows a Very Heavy Film about a Friend Trying To Save a Suicidal Friend

Just Say Goodbye is an upcoming drama from director Matt Walting and Layla O’Shea. The story will be extremely heavy as it focuses on a young woman trying to save her suicidal friend.

After enduring years of abuse from his alcoholic father and the school bully Chase, Jesse Peterson tells his best friend Sarah that he plans on committing suicide. After promising to tell no one, Sarah finds it upon herself to try to stop him, taking any means necessary.

This sounds like a film that is too intense for me. Just Say Goodbye stars Katerina Eichenberger, William Galatis, Max MacKenzie, Pamela Jayne Morgan, Jesse Walters, and Charlotte Cusmano Zanolli and will be in theaters, and DVD and Digital on May 10.
