Thanks to Empire, we have a couple of new photos to share with you from Marvel’s Black Widow. The first image is of Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) alongside her “family” members including Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and David Harbour’s Alexei Shostakov a.k.a. Red Guardian.

The second image finds Natasha facing down a team of Black Widow recruits from the Red Room. Things don’t look good for Natasha, but you all know her crazy fighting skill level and she’ll probably end up kicking ass and getting out of the situation.

Johansson also talks about how she feels about suiting-up as Black Widow for the last time, saying:

“I don’t really have the perspective on it yet. I think it will take some time for it to sink in. It’s been such a constant in my life for a decade of time. Every 18 months, coming back to this family and continuing the journey with everyone… I think we all probably have mixed feelings about it, at least in specific scenes, but I really had a sense of accomplishment [after shooting finished on Black Widow]. I feel like I tried it all this time around. I really got to go to all those uncomfortable places and explore certain recesses of her.”

In Marvel’s spy thriller, Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige, Black Widow. Ther is currently no release date for the film. Disney recently pulled it from the schedule.

There aren’t as many Irish-born performers in Hollywood as there are well, everything else. However, if Saoirse Ronan’s career (so far—look out Meryl Streep) has proven anything, it’s that a whole lot of talent comes from the Emerald Isle. The place is a catalyst for creativity not just in film but in literature, dance, you name it.

Broadcast TV Shows Might Not Finish Their Full Seasons

Broadcast TV Shows Might Not Finish Their Full Seasons

Broadcast TV shows might not finish their full seasons

These past couple of days have been very hard for everyone around the world as we continue to prevent the spreading of the COVID-19 from further increasing. Hollywood has not been safe from the threats of the pandemic, with major film and television productions -both broadcast and streaming- going into temporary production hiatus. However, unlike streamers, major broadcast TV networks like ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and The CW are definitely in a huge dilemma as they try to figure out if their current shows will be able to return and finish their full seasons or not.

RELATED: The Handmaid’s Tale, Peaky Blinders and More Shut Down Productions

In a new report by Vulture, they infer that most broadcast series that are currently airing might be ending their seasons early, one to four episodes short of the previously scheduled full-season orders. This is because the shows’ production suspension might possibly go on longer than two weeks, depending on the current situation. But if the productions would be able to resume in April, the shows could only finish filming one or two episodes in time for their scheduled broadcast.

Although the decision to end the seasons early has still not been finalized, it is strongly suggested that suspended productions won’t be resuming as the network executives also consider the great cost that comes with shutting down and starting up productions. They are also taking into account crew contracts and members of the cast’s other working commitments.

This change will likely effect each show differently, with The CW’s Supernatural being a series that will be greatly affected by the production shut down. The long-running series is currently on its final season and has not yet filmed its series finale. If the network decided not to resume its production, fans might not be able to get their well-deserved good-bye episode.

The Release of Marvel’s BLACK WIDOW Has Been Delayed Until Further Notice

We all knew this was going to happen, but it’s official. In the wake of multiple theaters shutting down, Disney has announced that Marvel’s highly anticipated summer blockbuster Black Widow will no longer be released on May 1st. The release of the film has been delayed until further notice.

This coronavirus is really screwing things up. A lot of businesses and the employees of those businesses are taking a huge financial hit. It’s really sad and scary to see how this is all playing out.

As for Black Widow, I would be cool to see Disney release it on Disney+ or VOD and I imagine they’ve had that conversation. Whether or not that’s the direction they’ll take has yet to be seen. I’m sure this is an event that they’ll save for the big screen, which is fine as well. I can wait a few extra months to see Scarlett Johansson kickass as Black Widow again!

Marvel’s spy thriller was directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige. In it, Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
