In Fabric trailer shows the downsides of owning a killer dress

The first trailer for the A24 horror flick In Fabric is here to show that there are some serious downsides to owning a killer dress. No, not a dress that looks great, but a sentient piece of well-fitting fabric that’s bound and determined to kill whoever’s wearing it. You can check out the trailer in the post below!

In Fabric is a film that’s part surreal thriller, part giallo love letter, part fashion collage, and all hypnotic originality. Directed and written by Peter Strickland (Katalin VargaThe Duke of Burgundy), the horror movie follows the tale of a cursed dressed and the unusual London department store it comes from.

The movie stars Oscar nominee Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Secrets & LiesWithout a Trace), Hayley Squires (CollateralI, Daniel Blake), Leo Bill (28 Days LaterBecoming Jane), Julian Barratt (The Mighty BooshMindhorn), Steve Oram (SightseersThe World’s End), and Gwendoline Christie (Game of ThronesThe Darkest Minds).

In Fabric is produced by Andy Starke, with Rose Garnett, Lizzie Francke, Phil Hunt, Compton Ross, Stephen Kelliher, Hilary Davis, Andrew Boswell, Ben Wheatley, and Ian Benson serving as executive producers. BFI Film Fund, BBC Films, Head Gear Films, Metrol Technology, and Twickenham Studios financed the project.

A24 will release the film in 2019.
